A figure cloaked in red wandered the village, a damp mark of crimson was slowly evaporating as the wounds stopped bleeding and the blood began to dry. A pair of white dog ears mounted upon a mix of silver and white hair twitched to take in noises that cirrculated around him. Thoughts were focoused on recent events, the battle with Sesshoumaru and his discussion with Kagome. At the thought of Kagome he blushed slightly at the recent incident. His walking pace continued through the winding paths of the village, he couldn't really go into battle again wounded, or without a sense of direction as where to head next, gaze shifted around searching for one of his companions.

With senses as accurate as his, he could smell her before he saw her. He didn't look at her and kept his gaze in the other direction. Although soon yellow eyes were laid to rest on Kagome and a mummer of 'Hi' was his response to her greeting. The awkward moments passed by slowly but surely. Have you sensed any shards? he asked abruptly to break the continuous silence that followed. the blushing had ceased at her approach. How much longer would their connection be so awkward. A slight noncommittal grunt was let out as he took up a sitting position beneath a nearby tree. They could continue the conversation sitting down but moving was more or less slightly painful although he would never say it. He let his gaze wander to her, waiting for her to follow suit. Hopefully Miroku or someone would pass by sometime soon.

Her silence was taken as a 'No' to his question. Finally he let his gaze rest on her without moving. A serious look flashed across his features as another question was voiced. So, why did you? he asked quietly as not to allow any other to hear. Although they were seemingly alone it felt different to talk to her right now. Although the awkward feeling was strong he fought to keep his gaze on her, it was common courtesy anyways and he had to know why. He noticed her watching the houses, he knew the houses in her time were different, and much roomier, also built of different material. Her own time was much different, more convenient. Why she needed to go to 'School' as she called it was beyond him but she insisted on it anyways. In his own opinion her era was weird, and she always made him cover his ears for some reason or another.

He didn't reply right away, who was she to question him further? A glance was cast in her direction though he remained silent. He told her enough already, all the affection was more or less annoying to a point. Keh. You know damn well what I meant by it! he snapped back quickly. Ah yes, another of his frequent mood swings. Gaze moved to the sky, only a few days until the new moon. He hated his human form, he couldn't wield Tetsusaiga which basically meant they had to lay low for the night which was of no help at all. He didn't reply to her second statement, there was no need to anyways. He knew very well she would question him further, or so he figured anyways but Inuyasha would not budge on this, that was his final answer.

A loud 'Keh' was his only reply to her question, he didnt intend to answer it. No human was going to force him into anything. He watched her only from the corner of his eye. Surprisingly she hadnt told him to 'Sit' yet...yet. Dog ears twitched again as a voice was heard from the village though nothing to really be concerned about. The village wasnt large but its not like it was tiny either. Kagomes cheerful tones were almost frightening to him right now, he had been 'moody' as she said and she would usually break out in an arguement, yet now she seemed, happy? Such things were unnatural to him. He turned to face her completely though making it clear he wasnt going to tell her anything.

A crash to the ground sent pain ricocheting throughout though he just jumped up scowling. Though with the new moon already risen in the sky his transformation had occured. Instead of a half demon, he had taken the appearence of a human. Arms crossed angrily. Such was the life of a half demon. With a slight grumble he sat down again glaring at her as she left. How smug she must feel at the moment. Did she really find enjoyment in making him fly into the ground? Maybe she should try it sometime, and its not like I need these beads anyways im not taking off. Glare continued to watch her, never relenting, oh someday. If anyhing she would probably run off to her own time.
